Those include small ventilation holes should a child ever decide to climb in and take a nap, as well as specially designed, American made soft-close lid stays (2). The lid stays keep the lid from slamming shut. In fact, the lid will only close if you push it down. This will keep small hands protected. Also, the toy trunk will not lock on its own.

The Rhino Toy Trunk has an exterior laminate of 1000d Cordura Nylon textured sheathing. It makes it highly resistant to water penetration, denting and scratching. The Cordura Nylon is laminated over 3/8" Baltic Birch hardwood plywood, the finest plywood in the world. Rhino Toy Trunks™ are available in 19 colors and four popular sizes.
